The superb 5 star luxury accommodation at 'The Valley' is set in a beautiful country valley only a short distance from everything that Cornwall has to offer. Explore incredible beaches, fishing villages & country pubs. Wherever the mood takes you is only a pebble's throw away.
Set in 13 acres of conservation award-winning countryside, don’t forget to pack your binoculars and camera. From your balcony or patio you won't know whether to focus on the buzzards or the squirrels, the owl or the fox.
If you can tear yourself away from the comfort of your cottage there are plenty of refreshing things to do, such as exploring the wonderful grounds of the Valley and footpaths which abound close by. You can start your walk in the country just by stepping outside your front door.
Despite all this, the Valley is so central in Cornwall that you can get to almost anything that the county has to offer in half an hour; surfing the North Coast in the morning, sailing on the south by afternoon, or even pottering about one of Cornwall's many sub-tropical gardens. And within ten minutes drive you can be browsing the myriad of shops or taking in the latest show at the theatre in the cathedral city of Truro.
With golf courses, scenic railways, beaches and gardens, as well a the ferry across the famous River Fal to the secluded Roseland Peninsula all in the near vicinity, you will be spoilt for choice at the Valley.
Each cottage at the Valley has been designed with luxury in mind, from the solid oak furniture in the dining and living areas, through to the state of the art integrated flat screen TVs and DVD players and emperor sized beds. Choose between two cottage types; the Gallery and the Haven. The former is arranged over three half floors, providing superb open plan living with a galleried kitchen and a patio to enjoy the Cornish sun. Meanwhile the Haven cottages enjoy an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with patio, and a vaulted open truss ceiling in the master bedroom. Both cottage types accommodate four guests in two bedrooms one with ensuite shower room plus a family bathroom. The cottages benefit from very well equipped kitchens with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washer-dryer. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and handbasin
Once outside the cottages there are a wealth of activities available to you to enjoy at the Valley. Available between Easter and October you can enjoy the use of an indoor heated swimming pool and outdoor pool (heated from June to September), tennis and squash courts. Or why not work out in the fitness suite, enjoy a game of table tennis or pool, before relaxing in the bubbling water of the spa pool. Between Easter and October guests can also enjoy the exclusive use of the fantastic Café Azur, the Valley's own bar and restaurant. Enjoy a local Cornish pint after a long afternoon, or perhaps try the catch of the day. And if you would rather enjoy a chef-cooked meal in the comfort of your own cottage, then all the restaurant's meals can be delivered to you.
