Tuncurry Lakes Resort is proud to be one of Australia’s earliest and longest running Timeshare Resorts. Originally named Tuncurry Lakeside Village, this Timeshare resort welcomed its first guests in December 1978. Over the ensuing years, many improvements and a comprehensive refurbishment have been made to the Resort, with new activities added to make it the outstanding destination it is today.

A BYO wet bar provides all that’s needed to enjoy drinks and nibbles or coffee and cake while relaxing in this spacious area.
Cool off in the beautifully maintained pool and spa, or relax with your family and friends on the sun-lounges and seating in the landscaped pool surrounds. Choose from sunny or shaded areas to suit the day. Enjoy a barbecue poolside, cooked in the all-weather gazebo, to complete your day.
The unique ‘Jumping Pillow’offers endless fun for all ages! Bounce sedately, turn somersaults or leap for the sky on this huge, safe and completely addictive cross between a trampoline and a jumping castle.
Enjoy a game on one of the Resort’s two, full-sized courts. Flood lighting provides for play after dark. Racquets and balls can be obtained from the Reception office or bring your own.
Bicycles are also a compulsory accessory at Tuncurry Lakes Resort.With many sizes available on a half-day basis, the whole family can explore the resort grounds and local area, soaking up the wonderful natural surroundings at a leisurely pace.
Cruise the river and lakes, pull up on a sandy island for a swim and a picnic, or try your luck with a fishing line. The Resort boats have outboard motors and are available for half-day hire at a nominal rate. No boating license is required.
The attractive lagoon accessible from within resort grounds is tidal and connected to the Wollamba River by a narrow channel. The lagoon is large enough to accommodate the Resort boats, guest’s boats, canoeists and swimmers with ease. From the lagoon, cruise up or down the river, into the Wallis Lakes or to the townships of Tuncurry and Forster.
Full-size canoes are waiting for you on the banks and you can use them anytime within the lagoon. For a change, try one of the two double paddle boats to use within the lagoon only. Great fun for all ages. Bring your own boat - the Resort offers limited locked boat storage, a launch ramp, and moorings in the saltwater lagoon for guest’s boats, subject to availability during your stay. If you do bring your own boat, the Wollamba River offers excellent water skiing just upriver from the Resort.
Kids of all ages will be drawn to the many play areas located throughout the grounds to provide fun and challenging play. The resort’s Children’s Co-ordinator organises games, sports events, art and craft activities and social events for all ages during NSW School Holiday periods.
With all this and the Resort attractions too, your children won’t have time to be bored! Young or old - enjoy a game of Pool, Table Tennis or try one of the many arcade games in the Games Pavilion. Check-out a skateboard from Reception and test your skills in the Resort’s skateboard basin. Test your skill on the 13 Hole Mini-Putt golf course, or practice for real on the 3 hole golf range in the Resort grounds. Visitors are always welcome at the 18 Hole Golf courses in both Tuncurry and Forster.
Get a team together for a game of Volleyball, Croquet, Lawn Bowls, Petanque, Cricket, Basketball or Football. The friendly staff will provide all the necessary equipment and can point out the best spot for your games.
A wide range of board games are also available from the if indoor fun is what you fancy.
Units are light and airy, 2 bedroom, self-contained and accommodate from 4 to 6 people. The living, dining and kitchen area are open plan and there is a separate bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, electric cook top, microwave oven, and electric frypan. The living area contains the television and DVD player, comfortable sofas and a dining table seating 6.
The units are fully insulated with ceiling and wall fans in the living area and bedrooms keep you cool, and heaters are provided to take the winter nip from the air. For dining al fresco, gas barbeques, tables and seating are conveniently located near the front of your unit and at many other locations throughout the resort grounds.
The Great Lakes is NSW's water playground with its 145 kilometres of stunning coastline and glittering mosaic of crystal clear inland waterways based around the impressive Wallis, Smiths and Myall lakes networks. Deep green forests abound with limitless opportunities to explore hidden coastal and hinterland jewels.
Throughout the region you will discover breathtaking scenery and celebrate fabulous sunsets where you can immerse yourself in nature's varied moods, from wide expanses of sub- tropical forests to the tranquillity of a deserted beach at sunrise.
