The Pearl South Pacific is located amid beautiful tropical gardens, just two hours from the Fijian town of Nadi, with blue sky above, warm seas beside you and pristine white sand beneath your feet. Inland, beneath the shade of the tropical rainforest, there are cascading waterfalls and rivers. It doesn’t get any better than this. And with an abundance of fresh fruit, fish and spicy curries, even your palate gets a taste of paradise. It’s no wonder Fiji is known as the ‘home of happiness.’

The resort combines first-class facilities with the ambiance and hospitality of a boutique retreat. The modern and stylish rooms provide an oasis as you discover the magic of the 333 tropical islands that are Fiji. Start your day with a leisurely lap or two of the pool, or get your blood pumping with a workout in the gym. Do as much or as little as you like.

When it comes to doing as little as possible, you should indulge in an unparalleled selection of blissful massages and exquisite treatments in the peace and tranquility of the resort’s day spa. The Pearl Championship Fiji Golf Course is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and gently winding canals, turning 18 holes into a near-spiritual experience. Adrenaline addicts can kayak, scuba dive the beautiful coral reefs, or have fun riding the banana boats or jet skis.

Discover the spectacular heart of the ‘home of happiness,’ the Pearl South Pacific.

We enjoyed our weeks stay. Thought the Fijian staff were friendly and helpful. They made the week that's for sure! Had a great room in a good location at the resort.

Stayed at the Pearl Resort for 19 days

We always enjoy staying at the Pearl when we visit relatives in Fiji, as it's not too far from Suva (for our shopping). The rooms in the new wing are lovely, we had a marina view which is perfect when waking up in the morning. On previous visits we have enjoyed an ocean view room (new wing) and in the older wing both garden and an upgrade to one of the suites usually reserved for wedding couples etc. My overall resort rating is due to the standard of the food only, if management revise the menus and actually taste the food being served the quality and standard could be improved immensely.

The Pearl at Pacific Harbour

Our son and his girlfriend stayed here as it was a studio apartment and the stay included breakfast. We stayed next door at the Fiji Palms in a two bedroom unit as there were another 4 of us. The Pearl is a lovely 5 star resort complex. It has a nice pool, three bars and restaurants. We all went kayaking and snorkeling which is free with the resort and had lots of fun. Our group went on the sunset cruise which was a lot of fun too and it left from the Pearl resort. The resort is right on the beach and offers great views. They are undergoing renovations and our son was fortunate to get a renovated unit on the top floor and my husband and I received massage vouchers from the Pearl Spa due to the resort mix up with the vehicle transfer arrangements. On the whole our son was very happy with everything

Relaxing resort in a beautiful location.

The resort is located 2.5hrs drive from Nadi or 45min drive from Suva. Located on Pacific Harbour, the resort has 4 restaurants/eateries, a golf course and it situated opposite the sandy beach. The resort was newly developed and opened late 2015, with the old resort building not in use at the time that we went. The new building is modern and open and houses the reception and the riviera restaurant. The rooms where clean and staff very friendly. There was 30min of free wifi per day and paid wifi available. The buffet breakfast was plentiful but for those who have allergies I recommend you bring food to supplement. example no gluten free bread or soy/almond milk available. The 4 restaurants varied in price and menu, however none had dietary symbols for those with food allergies, you either ask the staff or use best judgement on ingredients. The cheapest restaurants had mains at $25 - $45 Fijian dollars and the most expensive restaurant was priced at $70-$90 Fijian dollars for mains on average Given the size of the resort, i found the pool to be small and not suited for lap swimming as half of it was catered to kids, knee to thigh deep. There is a set of convenience stores the street opposite the Pearl to get basics like drinks and snacks and 15min walk from the Pearl heading towards Suva was a collection of shops and cafes which offer an alternative to eating at the Pearl. This small outdoor shopping centre had a super market, laundry mat, internet cafe and souvenir stores. The Pearl offered daily activities and the island excursion to Yanuca Island was lovely for those who like snorkeling. The resort has a day spa offering a long list of treatments. Overall a relaxing, friendly stay - I would recommend this resort.

What this member liked most:

The location offered easy access by harbour whilst still having a sandy beach to play with. The resort was very relaxing and the staff were super friendly.
