It is an area of lakes and mountains, heritage and tradition. The Quaysiders Club is only yards away from the shores of Lake Windermere, offering a host of water activities. A short walk along the promenade brings you to the pier for Windermere Cruises.

The Lake District National Park at 2,292 sq km, is the largest of England's National Parks providing an exciting mix of mountain and lake scenery. Postcard perfect in summer, in autumn the brown bracken of the mountain slopes contrasts with the reds of oak forests and the beginnings of snow white frosting on the mountain peaks. The Lake District is a walker's paradise at any time.
The holiday cottages at The Quaysiders Club in Ambleside, Cumbria are all identical in size and are luxuriously equipped to the highest standard, with fine furniture and fabrics and all modern amenities. Each apartment has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, plus a sofa bed, grouped around a courtyard with a picnic/barbeque area. There is one car parking space allocated to each apartment. A full Wireless Internet System is available in all the apartments for a small weekly charge.

On site facilities include a leisure spa including whirlpool, sauna and showers, paved courtyard with BBQ area and there is also a laundry room available.

Please be aware that a valid credit or debit card is required at check for pre authoristaion of £50. Utilities fees are by meter reading. Please note that this resort operates a penalty system for late check-outs; for every half hour after 10am guests check out, there will be a charge of £20. Wifi is available at the resort free of charge on limited devices. Each apartment has one guaranteed parking space but there are limited visitor spaces onsite if required.

To reach The Quaysiders Club in Ambleside, Cumbria take the M6 to Junction 36. Follow the signs for Windermere, and then Ambleside. Take the left fork at the Waterhead Hotel and 100 yards further you will find The Quaysiders Club on your right.

Immaculate Property

This is an immaculate property, well maintained and spotless, the Managers of this property have a high standard and an eye for detail. Our 2 bedroom apartment was on the top level and as soon as we entered the front door we were impressed. The accommodation was 2 separate bedrooms a modern bathroom and open plan living with kitchen which was equipped with everything you could need ,a dining, lounge area. The location was perfect as just across the road from Lake Windermere and a short 10 minute walk into Ambleside village. We enjoyed the spa each evening after a day of walking and were able to do our washing in the machines and dryers provided in the laundry. The internet worked in spots in the apartment. The managers of this property are to be congratulated with the standard they maintain and we would highly recommend to those travellers who want a comfortable stay in the Lake District.
