Bluegreen Wilderness Club at Big Cedar
Ridgedale, Missouri, is close enough to Branson to still be considered the "Live Music Show Capital of the World." However, upon entering this sprawling resort property, you'll quickly realize that you're worlds away from the bright lights and live music. The Ozark Mountains are all around and you're right on Table Rock Lake. Add the proximity to Big Cedar Lodge and you've got yourself the outdoors vacation of a lifetime.
Mountain retreat meets modern amenities in Bluegreen Wilderness Club's comfortable log cabins and lodge units, all with a view of the lake or woods. Each unit has been thoughtfully decorated to reflect the homespun style of the Ozarks. Choose a studio that sleeps 4 people, or a one-, two-, or three-bedroom unit that can accommodate 4 to 8 people. Each spacious cabin has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, whirlpool bath, area rugs, and a 350-square-foot deck with gas grill. Lodge units feature wood-plank floors, spa-sized tubs (except in studios), patios, hickory sapling furniture, and mountings of trophy bucks and game birds. Some also include a cozy fireplace with a split log mantle. All units feature telephone, television, full kitchen or kitchenette, air conditioning, and dishwasher. Some also feature a washer and dryer.
The emphasis is on the outdoors, of course. Bluegreen Wilderness Club models the Adirondacks style of architecture with an authenticity that's unsurpassed. This 40-acre family-friendly resort overlooks breathtaking Table Rock Lake, just 10 miles south of Branson and right down the road from the Bass Pro Shops developed Big Cedar Lodge. And because of Bluegreen's relationship with Bass Pro, you'll enjoy full access to the amenities of Big Cedar, too. The Wilderness Club clubhouse is an impressive 9,000 square feet and features a game room, owners' lounge, retail store, snack bar and activities desk. For family fun that can't be beat, be sure to experience one of the best amenities the resort has to offer: the Lazy River. This sprawling 875-foot water extravaganza includes caves, rock grottoes, a waterfall plus a water slide the kids are sure to love (open Memorial Day through Labor Day). For kids with a big sense of adventure, the outdoor rock-climbing wall on the playground will test their bravery. Bordering historic Big Cedar Lodge, Bluegreen Wilderness Club gives guests access to a wide variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities including impressive privileges at the exclusive Bent Hook Marina.
